پیٹ کے بل لیٹنے کی ممانعت
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے بیان کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو پیٹ کے بل اوندھا لیٹا ہوا دیکھا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ: "لیٹنے کا یہ طریقہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو ناپسند ہے"۔ (ترمذی)
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے امت کو نہ صرف عبادات و معاملات کے طریقے بتائے، بلکہ اخلاق و معاشرتی زندگی گذارنے کے رہنما اصول بھی بتائے ہیں، آپ ﷺ نے کھانے، پینے، لیٹنے، سونے اور بیٹھنے کے بارے میں بھی امت کو ہدایات دی ہیں، اور اپنے طرزِعمل سے بھی رہنمائی فرمائی ہے، اس حدیث مبارک میں اوندھے منہ لیٹنے کو جو کہ ایک غیر فطری اور غیر مہذب طریقہ ہے، فرمایا کہ یہ طریقہ اللہ تبارک وتعالیٰ کو پسند نہیں ہے، جب کہ ایک دوسری حدیث میں اس کو دوزخیوں کا طریقہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے۔
English translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man lying face-down on his belly, so he said: "This manner of lying is disliked by Allah the Exalted." (Tirmidhi)
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught the Ummah not only the ways of worship and mutual dealings, but also the guiding principles for good character and social life. He gave the Ummah instructions concerning eating, drinking, lying down, sleeping and sitting, and guided them by his own example as well. In this blessed hadith he addressed lying face-down — which is an unnatural and uncivilised posture — and declared that this manner is not liked by Allah, the Blessed and Exalted; while in another hadith it has been described as the way of the people of Hell.
