جو شخص سب سے آخر میں جنت میں جائے گا
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "میں یقیناً اس شخص کو جانتا ہوں جو سب سے آخر میں دوزخ سے نکالا جائے گا اور سب سے آخر میں جنت میں پہنچایا جائے گا، یہ ایک ایسا شخص ہو گا جو گھٹنوں کے بل چل کر دوزخ سے باہر آئے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے فرمائے گا: جا تو جنت میں داخل ہو جا، وہ شخص جب وہاں (جنت کے اندر) جائے گا (تو اسے یہ گمان ہو گا) کہ جنت تو بھر چکی ہے، وہ لوٹ کر عرض کرے گا کہ میرے پروردگار! مجھے تو یہ جنت بالکل بھری ہوئی ملی ہے (یہاں میرے لیے کوئی جگہ نظر نہیں آ رہی) اللہ تعالیٰ ارشاد فرمائے گا: جا تو جنت میں داخل ہو جا، تیرے لیے دنیا (کی مسافت) کے بقدر اور اس سے دس گنا زیادہ ہے، وہ شخص (انتہائی حیرت اور تعجب کے عالم میں) کہے گا کہ آپ مجھ سے مذاق کرتے ہیں یا مجھ سے ہنسی کرتے ہیں، حالانکہ آپ تو (دو جہانوں کے بھی) بادشاہ ہیں"۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہ بات فرما کر یہاں تک ہنسے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی داڑھیں نظر آنے لگیں، اور کہا جاتا ہے کہ یہ سب سے چھوٹے درجے کا آدمی ہو گا۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
مرنے کے بعد دوسری اور ابدی زندگی میں ہر انسان یا تو جنت میں جائے گا یا جہنم میں، جو لوگ شرک جیسے قبیح گناہ کے مرتکب ہوں گے ان کا ٹھکانہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے جہنم ہو گا اور جو لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کی وحدانیت کا اقرار کرتے ہوں، اور اللہ تعالیٰ اور رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بتائے ہوئے طریقے پر عمل کرتے ہیں ان کی آخری منزل جنت ہو گی، اس حدیث میں اس شخص کا ذکر کیا گیا ہے جو کہ اپنی دنیا کی بد اعمالیوں کی سزا بھگت کر جنت میں داخل ہونے والا آخری شخص ہو گا۔
اس جنت کا حدود و اربعہ کیا ہے، اس کا سمجھنا نہ صرف مشکل بلکہ ناممکن ہے، جیسا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ قرآن مجید میں ارشاد فرماتے ہیں:
"کوئی شخص نہیں جانتا جو کچھ ان کی آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک ان کے لیے چھپا کر رکھا گیا ہے، یہ بدلہ ہے ان اعمال کا جو وہ کرتے رہے"۔ (السجدہ ۱۷)
قرآن و حدیث کے مطالعے سے یہ اتنا معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ جنت ایک ایسی جگہ ہے جو بلاشبہ ہمارے اس کرہ ارضی کے مقابلے میں بلامبالغہ اربوں گنا زیادہ وسیع و عریض ہے، آج ہم اس بے ثبات دنیا میں اس قدر الجھ گئے ہیں کہ اپنی تخلیق کے اصل مقصد سے ہی غافل ہو گئے ہیں اور صرف چھوٹے چھوٹے مکانوں اور دکانوں کو ہی اپنی زندگی کا تمام تر مقصد بنا لیا ہے، حالانکہ یہ بات طے شدہ ہے جس سے کوئی ذی روح بھی انکار نہیں کر سکتا کہ ایک دن اس دنیا سے جانا ہے اور جانے کا وقت بھی مقرر نہیں (یعنی صرف اللہ تعالیٰ کو ہی اس وقت کا علم ہے) اللہ جانے کب بلاوا آ جائے؟
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب مسلمانوں کو آخرت کی صحیح فکر اور جنت کے حصول کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ کے احکامات اور رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت کے صحیح اتباع کی توفیق عطا فرمائے (آمین)

English translation
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I surely know the one who will be the last to be brought out of the Fire and the last to be admitted into Paradise. He will be a man who comes out of the Fire crawling on his knees. Allah will say to him, 'Go, enter Paradise.' When he goes there (into Paradise, he will think) that Paradise is already full. He will return and say, 'My Lord, I found Paradise completely full (I can see no place for me here).' Allah will say, 'Go, enter Paradise; you shall have the like of the world and ten times as much.' The man will say (in utter astonishment and wonder), 'Are You mocking me, or laughing at me, though You are the King (of both worlds)?'" Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say this and laugh until his back teeth showed. And it is said that this will be the person of the lowest rank in Paradise.
After death, in the second and everlasting life, every human being will go either to Paradise or to Hell. Those who commit the vile sin of shirk (associating partners with Allah) will have their abode in Hell forever, while those who affirm the oneness of Allah and act upon the way shown by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ will have their final destination in Paradise. This hadith mentions the person who, after suffering the punishment for the misdeeds of his worldly life, will be the last to enter Paradise.
What are the dimensions of this Paradise? To comprehend them is not merely difficult but impossible, as Allah says in the Noble Qur'an: "No soul knows what comfort of the eyes has been kept hidden for them, as a reward for what they used to do." (As-Sajda 17)
From the study of the Qur'an and hadith, this much is understood: that Paradise is a place so vast that it is, beyond doubt, immeasurably billions of times wider and more spacious than this earth of ours. Today we have become so entangled in this transient world that we have grown heedless of the very purpose of our creation, and have made small houses and shops the entire aim of our lives — although it is a settled matter, which no living soul can deny, that one day we must leave this world, and the time of departure is not fixed for us (that is, only Allah knows that time); who knows when the call may come? May Allah grant all of us Muslims true concern for the Hereafter, and the ability to correctly follow the commands of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in order to attain the Hereafter and Paradise. (Ameen)
