نیکی کا اجر

It is narrated from Abu al-'Abbas 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) related from his Lord, Blessed and Exalted, saying: "Allah Most High has recorded good deeds and bad deeds, then made them clear: whoever intends a good deed but does not do it, Allah records with Him a full good deed; and if he acts upon his intention, Allah records for him, in place of one good deed, from ten good deeds up to seven hundred times, or even more. And whoever intends an evil deed but does not do it, Allah records with Him a full good deed; and if he acts upon his intention, Allah records only a single evil deed." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Among the special favours with which Allah Most High has honoured this Ummah, out of His grace, kindness and particular benevolence, is this great favour: that when a believing servant performs a good deed with sincerity, Allah does not merely reward him equal to that one deed, but gives him tenfold, indeed more. Nor does He stop there — the greater the sincerity, truthfulness and steadfastness in his deeds, the more Allah increases the reward and favours. So for a single good deed Allah grants seven hundredfold, or even more. By contrast, if — through human weakness — a believer commits a sin, only that one sin is recorded against him; and if he deliberately refrains from that evil out of fear of Allah, then for not doing it Allah grants him a good deed instead. However much one gives thanks for this favour of Allah, it remains too little.
