کامل ایمان والا
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ:۔ ''قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے دستِ قدرت میں میری جان ہے، کوئی بندہ اس وقت تک کامل ایمان والا نہیں ہوسکتا جب تک کہ وہ اپنے (مسلمان) بھائی کے لیے بھی اسی چیز کو پسند نہ کرے جسے وہ اپنے لیے پسند کرتا ہے''۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
مومن کی ایک بنیادی صفت یہ ہے کہ وہ عالی ظرف ہوتا ہے، وہ تنگ نظر نہیں ہوتا، وہ دوسروں کے لیے وہی بات پسند کرتا ہے جو اسے خود پر پسند ہے، وہ اگر اپنا بدخواہ نہیں ہے تو وہ دوسروں کا بھی بدخواہ نہیں ہوسکتا، آج مسلمان اگر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اسی ایک تعلیم پر عمل کرنے لگ جائیں تو کتنے ہی جھگڑوں اور فتنہ و فساد سے نجات مل جائے، اس لیے کہ اکثر فتنہ و فساد اور جھگڑوں کے پیچھے خود غرضی، تنگ نظری اور طبیعت ہی کارفرما ہوتی ہے۔
مومن سب کا ہمدرد و غمگسار ہوتا ہے، وہ خود غرض اور تنگ نظر نہیں ہوتا، اسے اپنے مسلمان بھائی سے الفت و محبت ہوتی ہے، سارے مسلمان اس کے دینی بھائی ہیں، ایسے شخص کے اندر لازماً شانِ محبوبی پائی جائے گی جسے سارے مسلمانوں سے محبت اور ہمدردی ہوگی، ایسا شخص جو نہ مومن بھائی سے محبت و ہمدردی رکھتا ہے اور نہ اس کے مشکل وقت میں اس کے کام آتا ہے، اور جب اس پر مشکل لمحات آتے تو اسے بے یار و مددگار چھوڑ دیتا ہے، ایمان کی حقیقی لذت سے ناآشنا ہے، اس کا وجود بے معنی ہے، وہ ایک ایسے پھول کے مشابہ ہے جو رنگ و بو سے محروم ہے۔
آج مسلمان صرف اپنے ذات کے خول میں مرکوز ہوکر رہ گئے ہیں اور دشمنانِ دین و کافروں کے ظاہری طاقت اور وسائل سے خوف کھا کر اپنے مومن بھائی کو تنہا و یکتا چھوڑ رہے ہیں، اور اپنے غیرتِ ایمانی کا سودا محض اپنے ذاتی مفادات کے لیے کر رہے ہیں، حالانکہ قرآن مجید میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا واضح ارشاد ہے:
''یہ خبر دینے والا صرف شیطان ہی ہے جو اپنے دوستوں سے ڈراتا ہے، تم ان کافروں سے نہ ڈرو اور مجھ سے خوف رکھو، اگر تم مومن ہو۔ ...کفر میں آگے بڑھنے والے لوگ تجھے غمگین نہ کریں، یقین مانو کہ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا کچھ نہ بگاڑ سکیں گے، اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارادہ یہ ہے کہ ان کے لیے آخرت کا کوئی حصہ عطا نہ کرے، اور ان کے لیے بڑا عذاب ہے۔ کفر کو ایمان کے بدلے خریدنے والے ہرگز ہرگز اللہ تعالیٰ کو کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتے اور ان ہی کے لیے المناک عذاب ہے''۔ (آل عمران ، ۱۷۵ـ۱۷۷)
یعنی یہ صرف شیطان کا وسوسہ اور وہم ہے کہ یہ کفار بڑے مضبوط اور طاقت ور ہیں، اور جب وہ تمہیں اس وہم میں مبتلا کرے تو انسان کو صرف اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہی بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے اور اسی سے رجوع کرنا چاہیے، اسی کو راضی کرنا چاہیے نہ کہ کافروں اور مشرکوں کو، کیوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہمارے لیے کافی ہے اور وہی ہمارا مددگار ہے جیسا کہ خود اس کا فرمان ہے:
''کیا اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے کے لیے کافی نہیں ہے؟''۔ (الزمر ـ ۳۶)
یعنی جب اللہ تعالیٰ بندے کا حامی و ناصر ہو تو کوئی اس کا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتا اور وہی ان سب کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد کو کافی ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو اس بات کا صحیح فہم دے کہ ہم اپنے مومن بھائی کے لیے بھی وہی کچھ پسند کریں جو اپنے لیے کریں۔

یعنی یہ صرف شیطان کا وسوسہ اور وہم ہے کہ یہ کفار بڑے مضبوط اور طاقت ور ہیں، اور جب وہ تمہیں اس وہم میں مبتلا کرے تو انسان کو صرف اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہی بھروسہ کرنا چاہیے اور اسی سے رجوع کرنا چاہیے، اسی کو راضی کرنا چاہیے نہ کہ کافروں اور مشرکوں کو، کیوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہی ہمارے لیے کافی ہے اور وہی ہمارا مددگار ہے جیسا کہ خود اس کا فرمان ہے:
''کیا اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے کے لیے کافی نہیں ہے؟''۔ (الزمر ـ ۳۶)
یعنی جب اللہ تعالیٰ بندے کا حامی و ناصر ہو تو کوئی اس کا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتا اور وہی ان سب کے مقابلے میں ہماری مدد کو کافی ہے۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہم سب کو اس بات کا صحیح فہم دے کہ ہم اپنے مومن بھائی کے لیے بھی وہی کچھ پسند کریں جو اپنے لیے کریں۔
English translation
Anas (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "By the One in whose hand of power is my soul, no servant can be a complete believer until he loves for his (Muslim) brother the same that he loves for himself." (Bukhari and Muslim)
One of a believer's essential traits is that he is large-hearted and not narrow-minded; he wishes for others the very thing he likes for himself, and if he does not wish ill for himself he cannot wish ill for others. If Muslims today were to act upon this single teaching of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they would be freed from countless quarrels and from strife and corruption, for behind most strife, corruption and disputes lie selfishness, narrow-mindedness and mere temperament.
A believer is a sympathiser and well-wisher of all; he is neither selfish nor narrow-minded. He feels affection and love for his Muslim brother, for all Muslims are his brothers in faith. Such a person will inevitably possess a lovable character, one who loves and feels compassion for all Muslims. But a person who neither loves nor sympathises with his believing brother, who does not come to his aid in times of hardship and abandons him helpless when trials befall him, is a stranger to the true sweetness of faith; his existence is meaningless, like a flower devoid of colour and fragrance.
Today Muslims have become confined within the shell of their own selves, and out of fear of the outward power and resources of the enemies of the faith and the disbelievers they have left their believing brothers alone and isolated, bartering away their sense of religious honour merely for their personal interests — even though Allah has stated clearly in the Noble Qur'an:
"It is only Satan who frightens [you] of his allies. So do not fear them, but fear Me, if you are believers. And let not those who hasten into disbelief grieve you; they will never harm Allah at all. Allah intends to give them no share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment. Indeed, those who purchase disbelief in exchange for faith can never harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment." (Al-Imran 3:175-177)
That is, it is merely Satan's whispering and delusion that the disbelievers are strong and powerful. When he casts a person into this delusion, one should rely upon Allah alone, turn to Him, and seek His pleasure — not the pleasure of disbelievers and polytheists — for Allah alone is sufficient for us and He alone is our helper, as He Himself says:
"Is Allah not sufficient for His servant?" (Az-Zumar 39:36)
That is, when Allah is a person's supporter and helper, no one can do him any harm, and He alone is enough for our aid against them all. May Allah grant us all a true understanding of this, so that we too may love for our believing brother the same as we love for ourselves.
