دین کی سربلندی کے لیے امتِ محمدی ﷺ کی کوئی نہ کوئی جماعت ہمیشہ برسرِ جہاد رہے گی
حضرت عمران ابن حصین کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ: “میری امت کی کوئی نہ کوئی جماعت ہمیشہ حق کی حمایت وحفاظت کے لیے برسرِ جنگ رہے گی اور جو بھی شخص (ملک یا قوم) اس (جماعت) سے دشمنی کرے گا وہ (جماعت) اس پر غالب رہے گی، یہاں تک کہ اس امت کے آخری لوگ مسیح دجال سے جنگ کریں گے”۔ (ابو داؤد)
اس حدیث مبارک سے جہاں یہ واضح ہوتا ہے کہ یہ امت کسی بھی زمانے میں ایسے سرفروشوں اور جانبازوں سے خالی نہیں رہے گی جو دین اسلام کی سربلندی، حق کی حمایت وحفاظت اور ملت کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنے جان و مال کی قربانی پیش کریں گے، دشمنانِ اسلام کا دعویٰ سرنگوں کریں گے، وہیں یہ بات بھی سمجھا دی گئی ہے کہ مجاہدانِ اسلام کے مقابلے میں آخرکار ہزیمت اور شکست کی رسوائی کا سامنا کرنا پڑے گا، خواہ وہ کوئی فرد ہو یا کوئی ملک اور قوم ہو۔ یہ ہوسکتا ہے کہ وقت کی نزاکت اور حالات کی رفتار کسی مرحلے پر مسلمانوں کے لیے بظاہر پسپائی کا موقع پیدا کردے لیکن بالآخر فتح و کامرانی مسلمانوں کا ہی نصیب بنے گی۔
اسلامی تاریخ ایسے واقعات سے بہت بھری پڑی ہے کہ مسلمانوں نے بے سر وسامانی کی حالت میں صرف رب ذوالجلال والاکرام کے بھروسے پر جہاد کیا اور اپنے سے کئی گنا عسکری قوت والی قوموں کو شکستِ فاش دی، انہیں حق و باطل کی کش مکش میں حق کا کردار سعد بن ابی وقاص نے بھی، خالد بن ولید نے بھی، محمد بن قاسم اور طارق بن زیاد نے بھی ادا کیا، جسے کبھی سلطان محمود غزنوی اور کبھی شہاب الدین غوری کے نام سے یہ تاریخ کے ماتھے کا جھومر بنا، کبھی نورالدین زنگی اور کبھی سلطان صلاح الدین ایوبی کے نام سے سامنے آیا، کبھی الپ ارسلان اور کبھی سید احمد شہید کے نام سے برسرِ پیکار رہا، یہ سب ایک کردار کے مختلف نام ہیں جو ازل سے زندہ ہے اور ابد تک زندہ رہے گا، خواہ دشمنانِ دین اس کو مٹانے اور ختم کرنے کے کتنے ہی جتن کرتے رہیں، اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے:
“کافر لوگ اپنے منہ کی پھونکوں سے اللہ کے نور (دینِ اسلام) کو بجھانا چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ کا فیصلہ یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنے نور کو پورا پھیلا کر رہے گا خواہ کافروں کو کتنا ہی ناگوار ہو”۔ (الصف۔۸)
یعنی اللہ تعالیٰ اس دینِ اسلام کو آفاق میں پھیلانے والا اور دوسرے تمام دینوں پر غالب کرنے والا ہے۔
اسلام کے شیروں کو مت چھیڑنا تم ورنہ
تکبیر کے نعروں سے دنیا کو ہلا دیں گے
کافر ہے یہ بتلا دو مسلم ابھی زندہ ہے
ایمان کے جذبے سے کافر کو مٹا دیں گے
اس امت کے آخری لوگ سے مراد حضرت امام مہدی اور حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اور ان کے تابعین ہیں جو قربِ قیامت میں دجال کے ذریعے سے جنگ کریں گے، اور آخرکار حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام اس کو فنا کے گھاٹ اتاریں گے۔

English translation
Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) declared: “Some group of my Ummah will always remain fighting in support and defence of the truth, and whoever (whether a country or a nation) is hostile to this group, this group will prevail over them — until the last of the people of this Ummah fight the Antichrist (Masih Dajjal).” (Abu Dawud)
This blessed hadith makes clear that in every age this Ummah will never be devoid of such devoted and self-sacrificing souls who will offer their lives and wealth for the glory of Islam, the support and defence of the truth, and the protection of the community, and who will humble the claims of the enemies of Islam. At the same time it teaches that those who oppose the warriors of Islam will ultimately face the disgrace of defeat and rout, whether they be an individual, a country or a nation. It may be that the delicacy of the times and the course of events at some stage create an apparent setback for the Muslims, but in the end victory and success will be the lot of the Muslims alone.
Islamic history is full of events in which the Muslims, in a state of utter destitution, waged jihad relying only on the Lord of Majesty and Honour and inflicted crushing defeat on nations many times their military strength. In the struggle between truth and falsehood, the role of truth was played by Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, by Khalid ibn al-Walid, and by Muhammad bin Qasim and Tariq bin Ziyad; sometimes it became the jewel on the forehead of history under the name of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi and Shihab al-Din Ghori, sometimes it appeared under the name of Nur al-Din Zangi and Sultan Salah al-Din Ayyubi, and sometimes it remained in the thick of battle under the name of Alp Arslan and Sayyid Ahmad Shahid. These are all different names of one and the same character, which has been alive since eternity and will remain alive forever, however much the enemies of the faith strive to erase and end it. Allah the Exalted says:
“The disbelievers wish to extinguish the light of Allah (the religion of Islam) with the breath of their mouths, but Allah has decreed that He will perfect and spread His light, however much the disbelievers may dislike it.” (As-Saff 8)
That is, Allah the Exalted is the One who will spread this religion of Islam throughout the horizons and make it prevail over all other religions.
Do not provoke the lions of Islam, or with cries of takbir we shall shake the world;
Say to the disbeliever that the Muslim is still alive — with the passion of faith we shall wipe out disbelief.
By “the last of the people of this Ummah” are meant Imam Mahdi, Jesus (peace be upon him) and their followers, who near the end of time will fight the Antichrist, and finally Jesus (peace be upon him) will destroy him.
