رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا امت کو انتباہ
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ: “اے گروہِ مہاجرین! پانچ خصلتیں ایسی ہیں اگر تم میں بتلا دی جائیں اور تمہارے اندر وہ آ گئیں (تو پانچ عذاب تم پر مسلط ہو جائیں گے)، میں اللہ سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ تم ان (عذابوں) کو پاؤ:
(۱) جس قوم میں فحش کاری، زنا اور اسی قسم کی دوسری بدکاریاں عام ہو جائیں، یہاں تک کہ علی الاعلان ہونے لگیں تو ضرور ان میں ایسی بیماریاں پھیل جائیں گی جو کبھی ان کے پہلوں میں نہ تھیں۔ (۲) اور جب بھی لوگ ناپ اور تول میں کمی کرنے لگیں گے تو ضرور قحط سالی کی گرفت میں آ جائیں گے اور معاشی بحران اور حاکموں کے مظالم کا شکار ہو جائیں گے۔ (۳) اور اپنے اپنے مالوں کی زکوٰۃ دینا چھوڑ دیں گے تو ضرور آسمان سے بارشیں روک دی جائیں گی حتیٰ کہ اگر چوپائے نہ ہوں تو ایک قطرہ نہ برسے۔ (۴) اور جب بھی لوگ اللہ اور اس کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد و پیمان کی خلاف ورزی کرنے لگیں گے (احکامِ شرعیہ سے بے پرواہ ہو جائیں گے) تو ضرور ان پر کوئی اجنبی دشمن مسلط کر دیا جائے گا جو اس میں سے کچھ پر قبضہ کر لے گا جو ان کے ہاتھوں میں تھا۔ (۵) اور جب ان کے حاکم کتابِ الٰہی کے مطابق احکام نافذ نہیں کریں گے تو ان کے درمیان پھوٹ ڈال دی جائے گی۔” (ابن ماجہ و بیہقی)

اس حدیث میں جو پانچ باتیں بیان فرمائی گئی ہیں، ان میں سے ایک ایک کو ہم اپنی آنکھوں سے مشاہدہ کر رہے ہیں۔ جنسی بے راہ روی، زنا کاری اور عیاشی میں مغربی ممالک چونکہ اوروں کے مقابلہ میں بہت زیادہ گر چکے ہیں تو اسی تناسب سے ان ممالک میں ایک سے ایک نئی اور خطرناک بیماریاں بھی جنم لے رہی ہیں، اور مشرقی ممالک ابھی چونکہ اس “ترقی” میں اس حد تک ملوث نہیں ہوئے ہیں تو اسی لحاظ سے قسم قسم کے امراض بھی یہاں نسبتاً کم ہیں، جدید ترین تحقیق کے مطابق تو کئی لاعلاج بیماریاں اسی جنسی بے راہ روی اور زنا کاری کا ہی شاخسانہ ہیں۔ کم ناپ تول میں جو لوگ اور قومیں مبتلا ہیں تو اسی کے مطابق وہ معاشی بحران اور حکمرانوں کے مظالم کا شکار بھی ہیں اور جو ممالک ناپ تول میں کچھ محتاط ہیں وہاں کے معاشی حالات بھی قدرے بہتر ہیں۔
آج مختلف ممالک جو کبھی قحط سالی کا شکار اور کبھی بارشیں برسنے کی مشکلات میں مبتلا ہیں تو دراصل وہاں کے لوگوں نے اپنے اپنے مالوں سے زکوٰۃ نکالنا بند کر دی ہے۔ ایک اور حدیث میں اس طرح آتا ہے کہ: جو بھی قوم زکوٰۃ دینا چھوڑ دیتی ہے اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو قحط سالی میں مبتلا کر دیتا ہے۔ (طبرانی، بیہقی و حاکم)
ہمارے عہد کے کچھ بھائیوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے محبوب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے معاملہ میں غفلت برتی تو اس کا نتیجہ بھی کس قدر کھلا ہوا اور ہو بہو اس حدیث مبارکہ کے الفاظ کے مطابق دیکھ لیا، ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے اسلام کے نام پر حاصل کیا ہوا ملک پاکستان دو ٹکڑے ہوا اور ۱۹۶۷ کی عرب اسرائیل جنگ میں بھی اس کا کھلا مشاہدہ ہو گیا کہ اجنبی دشمن مسلط ہوا اور اس میں سے کچھ حصے پر قبضہ بھی کر لیا جو پہلے اپنے ہاتھوں میں تھا، اور اس طرح قبلہ اول آج ہمارے دشمنوں کے قبضے میں ہے جو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بدعہدی کا ہی نتیجہ اور منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے۔
اسی طرح جب تک اپنے نظامِ حکومت میں ہمارے بھائی کتاب اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دوسرے نظاموں (ازموں) کی طرف مائل رہے اور ان کو پسندیدگی سے دیکھتے رہے، آئے دن جگہ جگہ حکومتوں کے تختے الٹے جاتے رہے، اور آج بھی نام نہاد ترقی کے نام پر جو کچھ گل کھلائے جا رہے ہیں یقین کر لیجیے کہ اس حدیث کی روشنی میں وہ سراب ہی ثابت ہوگا۔
بھٹکے ہوئے آہو کو پھر سوئے حرم لے چل
اس شہر کے خوگر کو پھر وسعتِ صحرا دے
مسلمان کی تو دنیا بھی دین ہی سے وابستہ ہے، مسلمان اگر دوسری قوموں کو دیکھ کر ان کے قدم بقدم چل کر دنیا حاصل کرنا چاہے گا تو وہ پستی کی گہرائیوں میں اور گر جائے گا اور منزل سے اور زیادہ دور ہوتا چلا جائے گا۔
اپنی ملت کو قیاس اقوامِ مغرب پر نہ کر
خاص ہے ترکیب میں قومِ رسولِ ہاشمی

اسی طرح جب تک اپنے نظامِ حکومت میں ہمارے بھائی کتاب اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دوسرے نظاموں (ازموں) کی طرف مائل رہے اور ان کو پسندیدگی سے دیکھتے رہے، آئے دن جگہ جگہ حکومتوں کے تختے الٹے جاتے رہے، اور آج بھی نام نہاد ترقی کے نام پر جو کچھ گل کھلائے جا رہے ہیں یقین کر لیجیے کہ اس حدیث کی روشنی میں وہ سراب ہی ثابت ہوگا۔

مسلمان کی تو دنیا بھی دین ہی سے وابستہ ہے، مسلمان اگر دوسری قوموں کو دیکھ کر ان کے قدم بقدم چل کر دنیا حاصل کرنا چاہے گا تو وہ پستی کی گہرائیوں میں اور گر جائے گا اور منزل سے اور زیادہ دور ہوتا چلا جائے گا۔

خاص ہے ترکیب میں قومِ رسولِ ہاشمی
English translation
ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “O company of Emigrants! There are five traits that, if you are afflicted with them and they take hold among you (then five punishments will befall you) — and I seek refuge in Allah that you should live to see them:
(1) When indecency, adultery and other such vices become widespread in a people, so much so that they are practised openly, then diseases will surely spread among them that were never known among their forefathers. (2) Whenever people give short measure and weight, they will surely be seized by famine, and afflicted by economic crisis and the tyranny of rulers. (3) When they cease to pay the zakāt due on their wealth, the rains will surely be withheld from the sky, so that were it not for the animals not a single drop would fall. (4) Whenever people break the covenant of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ (becoming heedless of the rulings of the Sharīʿa), a foreign enemy will surely be set over them who will seize some of what was in their hands. (5) And when their rulers do not enforce laws in accordance with the Book of Allah, discord will be cast among them.” (Ibn Mājah and Bayhaqī)
Of the five things stated in this hadith, we are witnessing each and every one with our own eyes. Because the Western countries have fallen far further than others into sexual licence, adultery and self-indulgence, in the same proportion ever newer and more dangerous diseases are arising in those lands; and because the Eastern countries are as yet not so deeply involved in this “progress,” correspondingly the various maladies here are comparatively fewer. According to the latest research, many incurable diseases are the very offshoot of this sexual licence and adultery. The peoples and nations mired in giving short measure and weight are, accordingly, afflicted by economic crises and the tyranny of rulers, while the economic conditions of countries that are somewhat careful in measure and weight are correspondingly better.
Today various countries that are sometimes stricken by famine and sometimes plagued by the difficulty of rain not falling — in reality their people have stopped taking the zakāt out of their wealth. Another hadith says: whenever a people abandons the payment of zakāt, Allah afflicts them with famine. (Ṭabarānī, Bayhaqī and Ḥākim)
Some brothers of our age were negligent in the matter of Allah and His beloved Messenger ﷺ, and how plainly its consequence was seen — exactly according to the words of this noble hadith. Before our very eyes, Pakistan, the land won in the name of Islam, was split in two, and in the 1967 Arab–Israeli war too it was plainly witnessed that a foreign enemy was set over them and seized some of what had earlier been in their hands; and thus the first qibla is today in the hands of our enemies — which is nothing but the result and living proof of breaking faith with Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Likewise, for as long as our brothers, in their system of government, abandoned the Book of Allah and inclined towards other systems (‘isms’) and viewed them favourably, governments went on being overthrown here and there day after day; and rest assured that whatever mischief is being wrought today in the name of so-called progress will, in the light of this hadith, prove to be a mere mirage.
Lead the strayed deer back once more towards the sanctuary;
Give the one grown used to this city the vastness of the desert once again.
A Muslim's very worldly life is bound up with his religion. If a Muslim, looking to other peoples and walking step for step with them, seeks to gain the world, he will only sink deeper into the abyss of degradation and drift ever further from his goal.
Do not measure your own community by the peoples of the West;
The community of the Hashimite Messenger is unique in its composition.
