جمعہ کے دن قبولیت کی خاص گھڑی
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ: ”جمعہ کے دن میں ایک گھڑی ایسی ہوتی ہے کہ اگر کسی مسلمان بندے کو حسنِ اتفاق سے خاص اس گھڑی میں خیر و بھلائی کی کوئی چیز اللہ تعالیٰ سے مانگنے کی توفیق مل جائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اسکو (وہ چیز) عطا فرما دیتا ہے“۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
جس طرح پورے سال میں رحمت و قبولیت کی ایک خاص رات (شبِ قدر) رکھی گئی ہے، جو کہ رمضان المبارک کے آخری دس راتوں کی طاق راتوں میں سے ایک ہے، اور جس طرح سال کے دنوں میں ذی الحجہ کے شروع کے دس دن ہیں جس میں بالخصوص عرفہ (حج) کا دن ہے، اور اس کے علاوہ بھی مختلف خاص گھڑیاں اور خاص مواقع ہیں جو کہ دوسری احادیث سے پتہ چلتا ہے، جس میں اگر کسی بندے کو توبہ و استغفار اور دعا کی سعادت نصیب ہو جائے تو یہ اس کی بڑی خوش نصیبی ہوگی اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے قبولیت کی خاص توقع بھی ہے، اسی طرح ہر ہفتے میں جمعہ کے دن رحمت و قبولیت کی ایک خاص گھڑی ہوتی ہے، اگر اس میں بندے کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے استغفار اور دعا کی سعادت نصیب ہو جائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے قبولیت ہی کی امید ہے، لہٰذا ہمیں جمعہ کے دن اس گھڑی کی قبولیت کے لیے، جمعہ کے دن زیادہ سے زیادہ وقت توبہ و استغفار، درود و سلام اور دعا و ذکر میں لگانا چاہیے۔
English translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “On Friday there is an hour such that, if a Muslim servant happens by good fortune to be granted, in that very hour, the ability to ask Allah for some good and blessing, Allah grants him that thing.”
Just as in the whole year there is one special night of mercy and acceptance (Laylat al-Qadr), which is one of the odd nights among the last ten nights of the blessed month of Ramadan; and just as among the days of the year there are the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, in which especially there is the day of ‘Arafah (Hajj); and besides these there are also various special hours and occasions that we learn of from other hadiths — in which, if a servant is granted the blessing of repentance, seeking forgiveness, and supplication, it is his great good fortune, and there is a special hope of acceptance from Allah — likewise in every week there is a special hour of mercy and acceptance on Friday. If in it a servant is granted from Allah the blessing of seeking forgiveness and supplication, then by Allah’s grace and favour there is every hope of acceptance. Therefore, to attain the acceptance of this hour, we should spend as much time as possible on Friday in repentance, seeking forgiveness, sending blessings upon the Prophet, and supplication and remembrance of Allah.
