دنیا و عورت آزمائش ہے

Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the world is sweet and green (verdant), and Allah will make you successors in it, and then He will see how you act. So beware of (the deception of) the world and beware of (falling into the trial of) women, for the first trial of the Children of Israel was in the matter of women."

This blessed hadith mentions three fundamental matters. First, the testing of man — how he acts — which the Holy Qur'an mentions in countless places; in Surah al-Mulk, verse 2, Allah says: "He who created death and life to test which of you is best in deed." Second, it mentions the deception of the world: this world with its glitter, its wealth and goods, is without doubt pleasing to the eye and dear to hearts, yet love of this world is in truth the root of every sin; so let man not, deceived by the world, forget the purpose of his creation, which the Qur'an states thus: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me." (Adh-Dhariyat 56) Finally, it mentions the trial of women, which was among the first trials of the Children of Israel and is likewise the greatest trial of this Ummah, alluded to abundantly in the Qur'an and hadith. In reality Allah has placed a natural attraction in the opposite sex that draws human hearts towards it; if a person, heedless of the commands of the Shari'ah, pursues it, then know that his faith and religion are in danger; but whoever benefits from it within the bounds of the Shari'ah (that is, marriage) will be safe from its ruin and devastation. May Allah protect us from all these trials (Ameen).
