حضرت خدیجہ کی خصوصی فضیلت
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بیویوں میں جتنی غیرت اور جتنا رشک میں حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے کرتی تھی اتنا کسی بیوی سے نہیں، حالاں کہ میں نے حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو دیکھا بھی نہیں تھا، البتہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کو بہت یاد کیا کرتے تھے، اکثر ایسا ہوتا تھا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) بکری ذبح کرتے اور اس کا عضو عضو کاٹ کر بوٹیاں بناتے، پھر اس گوشت کو ان عورتوں کے ہاں بھجواتے جو حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی سہیلیاں تھیں، اکثر اوقات میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) سے کہہ دیا کرتی تھی کہ (آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تو خدیجہ کے بارے میں اس قدر شیفتگی اور محبت ظاہر کرتے ہیں) جیسے دنیا میں ایک خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے علاوہ اتنی خوبیوں والی اور کوئی عورت ہی نہیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) فرماتے: “وہ تو واقعی اس طرح کی تھیں اور ایسی ہی تھیں اور پھر میری اولاد بھی انہیں کے بطن سے ہے”۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو تاریخ میں اول مسلمان ہونے کا شرف حاصل ہے، یعنی تمام مردوں اور عورتوں میں سب سے پہلے آپ نے اسلام قبول کیا، آپ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ازدواجی زندگی کا پہلا رابطہ ہیں، آپ کو یہ اعزاز بھی حاصل ہے کہ آپ نے محمد بن عبداللہ کو محمد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہوتے ہوئے دیکھا، آپ وہ خوش نصیب خاتون ہیں جن کو انسانی تاریخ میں یہ سعادت حاصل ہوئی کہ سب سے پہلے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زبانی پہلی وحی کی آواز آپ کے کانوں نے سنی، حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کا ازدواجی مرحلہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ بڑا تاریخ ساز اور اسلام کے دور اساسی کا یادگار زمانہ ہے، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب دل گرفتہ ہو کر آتے تو خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتیں اور ان کے دکھوں میں شریک ہوتیں، خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مشن پر جھولیاں بھر بھر کر دولت لٹائی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ آپ کی رفاقت کی مدت تقریباً چوبیس سال (۲۴) اور چھ (۶) ماہ رہی، خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی موجودگی میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کسی اور سے نکاح نہیں کیا۔
آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تمام اولاد آپ ہی کے بطن سے ہوئیں سوائے ابراہیم بن محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے، جو ماریہ قبطیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے بطن سے تھے اور حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی اس خاص فضیلت کی برابری کا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی کوئی بھی زوجہ مطہرہ نہیں کر سکتی تھیں۔
آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی تمام اولاد آپ ہی کے بطن سے ہوئیں سوائے ابراہیم بن محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے، جو ماریہ قبطیہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے بطن سے تھے اور حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کی اس خاص فضیلت کی برابری کا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی کوئی بھی زوجہ مطہرہ نہیں کر سکتی تھیں۔
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that of all the wives of the Prophet ﷺ she was never as jealous of any wife as she was of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her), even though she had never even seen her. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to remember her very often; it would often happen that he would slaughter a goat, cut it into pieces, and send the meat to the women who had been Khadija’s friends. Often I would say to him: “You show such fondness and love for Khadija, as though there were no other woman in the world of such fine qualities besides Khadija.” The Prophet ﷺ would reply: “Indeed she was truly like that and was such, and moreover my children are from her womb.”
Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) holds the honour of being the first Muslim in history — that is, of all men and women she was the first to accept Islam. She was the Prophet ﷺ’s first bond in married life. She also had the honour of seeing Muhammad ibn Abdullah become Muhammad the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She was that fortunate lady who in human history was granted the blessing of being the first, from the very tongue of the Prophet ﷺ, to hear the sound of the first revelation. Khadija’s married partnership with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was a great, history-making period and the memorable era of Islam’s foundational days. When the Prophet ﷺ came home distressed, Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) would encourage him and share in his sorrows. Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) lavished her wealth, handful upon handful, on the mission of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Her companionship with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lasted about twenty-four (24) years and six (6) months. While Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) was alive, the Prophet ﷺ married no one else.
All of the Prophet ﷺ’s children were from her womb, except Ibrahim, son of Muhammad ﷺ, who was from the womb of Maria the Copt (may Allah be pleased with her); and no other pure wife of the Prophet ﷺ could equal this special virtue of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her).
